Responding to climate change; Know your Greenhouse gas number

Responding to a changing Climate, Ruakituri Farmers are working to calculate their greenhouse gas emissions to meet the government regulations and start developing individual farm plans, that focus on driving that number into a neutral position.

It is important for the Guardians of the Ruakituri to do our part in contributing to the industry staying out of the Emissions Trading Scheme and having a system that recognises carbon sequestration on-farm and separates the price of methane from the price of carbon.
